Learn the finer points of machine quilting with Maria Travers in a one day class, then spend the afternoon practicing your new skills. Cost $35.00 times from 10.00 am to 4.00 pm. This course will be held in store on Thursday 27th October 2011.

Needs list

• Sewing machine, cleaned, oiled and with new quilting or topstitching needles preferred
• darning or quilting foot
• walking foot
• 3 practice sandwiches of up to 50cm squares of calico with batting between
• any threads you have
• paper and pencil
• lunch

 
NB You will not be quilting a full quilt at this class, but practising techniques. If you have a quilt to be quilted, then bring it along for discussion.
