• Selection of 4 or 5 fabrics, each approximately ‘fat ⅛th’ size.

• 0.5m tearaway Vilene

• Pencil – B or 2B
• Small ruler
• Co-ordinating thread
• Sewing machine, cleaned, oiled, with a new needle
• sharp scissors

to complete the project (for the speedy ones)

• fat 1/4 of backing fabric
• fat 1/4 pellon or thin batting
• .3m fabric for border and binding
