Needs List

The quantity of fabric required is determined by where the fabric repeats are, as 8 are required for each block therefore:

• fabric with 12” repeat needs 12x8 = 96” = 2.45m
• fabric with 17.5” repeat needs 17.5x8 = 140” = 3.55m

These quantities allow for borders as well.

Also required is:

• approximately 1.1m of background fabric for 12 stars. Depending on how the blocks are set (ie. on point), you may need more fabric for setting triangles.
• brand new cutting blade(cut through 8 layers of fabric) for your cutter
• sewing machine with new needle
• general sewing notions
