Needs List

• The impact of 4 patch is in the contrast between light and dark fabrics.
• The quilt can be made from co-ordinated colours, e.g. blue and yellow, green and cream, but try to avoid medium values.
• This quilt is great for scrap fabrics (ahem! I mean a multi-fabric palette!!). Again, lights and darks, with an occasional deep bright, work very well.
• For darks, you’ll need 3in squares and 5 ½ x 6 ½ in oblongs.
• For lights, 3in x 4in oblongs.
• For the sample quilt top size you’ll need approximately 2.5 m of darks and 1.75 m of lights.
